Original Neurographic Painting
Pastel Acrylic Painting on Canvas, 12” x 24”
Fun Fact: During this Neurographic Art session, I meditated on the peaceful aspects of my growing up. When I finished this project, I recognized that the colors I had chosen to fill the empty spaces with were identical to the ones you would have found in my first-ever childhood bedroom—a sanctuary for me at one point.
I smile every time I look at this web of colors and nostalgically remember the light purple walls and marbled deep violet carpet, the daisies and dragonfly statues accenting the room with soft pinks, bright yellows, baby blues, and grassy greens.
