A Hug From An Octopus Original

$3,000.00

First time trying this style of “art.” The only stipulation, no paint brushes.

I used a plastic spoon, metal forks, a kitchen knife, a condiment squeeze bottle, a gallon of paint, and a couple of paint markers. This creature and I spent a lot of time together. Mixing paints and mixing feelings. I estimate about 100-110 hours of exploration over the last month and a half. It was around hour 95 when I realized I had yet to paint the remaining 16 edges of each canvas.

As I decided to put this girl on the market, I immediately received word from a friend of mine who lived down in Cape Coral, FL. She insisted on purchasing it. A month later, I flew down to see the my artwork on display in her breathtaking home on the canal.

Janel Busch, you are a gem.
